Does Immigration Matter in Our Community?
For this on-air spot, we wanted to ask a big question–does immigration matter here? Here we have Director of the St. Louis University Legal Clinic and SLU Law Professor John Ammann’s response, but what do you think?
What if They Didn’t Come?
John Ammann, director of the St. Louis University Legal Clinic and a SLU law professor, has a succinct answer when asked what would happen if there was no more immigration: “We’d be in a world of hurt.”
Why Do They Come? Obvious Answer? Yes…and No

Make Noise Not Sense (We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Bumper)
“Immigrants take our jobs.” This statement is definitely a list-topper in the immigration discussion. And it’s a powerful refrain in a country with a 10 percent unemployment rate.
