Ever since we embarked on the journey that has been Homeland, we’ve known immigration is a complex and nuanced issue, and there’s a lot of misinformation out there. Often, the only people that have the most correct information are those who work most closely with immigrants–especially lawyers. In fact, we’ve enlisted the help of Jasha McQueen Gadberry, an immigration attorney in St. Louis, to help us demystify issues related to immigration and debunk some of the most common myths.
But Jasha certainly isn’t the only immigration attorney in St. Louis; Chad Garrison took a Nine Academy class a few months ago and interviewed another locally based immigration attorney. Chad took this opportunity to ask some of the most frequently asked questions–for example, do illegal immigrants have rights?
